Another Fintech-Aviv Annual Summit. A place for banking and technology to collide

The pandemic may have brought you some news stories about the vast development of the tech scene in Israel. Fintech-Aviv has been organizing its Annual Summit for a few years now and has always had a mission of bringing startups closer to investors and corporations. The organizers actually managed to arrange 80 events as per the date of writing this.

What is surprising, this year is no different. While the whole world is still trying to figure out how to vaccinate people as fast as possible, Israel seems to have it all sorted out. They progressed impressively fast, and are gradually coming back to normality.

In April, they actually organized their Annual Summit, and this means that their events are happening undisturbed by the pandemic. In 2020, they managed before the first lockdown, and this year they have coped by using the tools that will be the ‘new normal’ in the post-pandemic times.

The 2021 Annual Fintech-Aviv Summit

Tal Sharon, who is the President of Fintech-Aviv (and a member of Equitech) shared some of his thoughts on the matter of throwing such an event. The Israeli FinTech Association (FinTech-Aviv) was incepted by Equitech in 2014 and has since become the biggest FinTech community in its country. They already have more than 30,000 members!

Sharon claims that their mission is to provide their members with quality content during the meticulously curated and themed events. These events are supposed to be the celebration of FinTech and the developing world. They also became the platform for different companies and institutions to start cooperating and exchange their experiences. FinTech-Aviv’s events are actually the places, where the trends of the FinTech branch are created.
